How it all began – Escape Games in Japan
The first escape games were created in Japan in 2007. Inspired by various computer games in which you had to solve puzzles in order to escape, developers transferred the concept to the real world.
The worldwide boom for escape rooms
Escape rooms conquered Europe and the USA from Asia. Today, there are thousands of providers worldwide – each with their own stories, themes and levels of difficulty.
Escape rooms in Germany and Aachen
Escape rooms have also been booming in Germany since around 2013 and there are several providers in Aachen. With its historic old town and student scene, Aachen now also offers the perfect backdrop for our outdoor escape game adventures.
