We are an experience space provider. This means that we have the pleasure of watching you for 60 minutes as you explore one of our themed rooms and master its tasks.
If the tasks are too difficult and you need a little help, our support team is always on hand to assist you so that you can enjoy a challenging but never overwhelming experience.

You have 60 minutes for our current rooms. However, you should allow 90 minutes for the arrival, a short introduction and a small photo afterwards.

If payment on site is selected at the time of booking, the outstanding amount must be paid in cash on the day of the event. in cash to be paid on the day of the event. The advantage of paying in cash is that we can respond to deviations in the group constellation (mixed groups of students & full-paying guests / last-minute cancellations / cases of illness) and adjust the booking price.

Of course! With parents or accompanied by adults, there are no age limits for children. If your kids want to tackle the event on their own, for example as part of a birthday party, they should be at least 11 years old.

Our adventures are meant to be challenging, but they don’t require particularly specialized skills. With a little logical thinking and creativity, all puzzles can be solved.
You do not need to bring any objects or other materials with you. On the contrary. The most would not be allowed anyway – everything you need for the room is included in the room!
We have no crawl spaces, darkrooms or shock elements. Our rooms have proven to be absolutely harmless.
If you still have concerns – or you fear claustrophobia and the like could be problematic, then ask us in advance by email at info@aachen-secrets.de and we will try to alleviate your worries or even dispel them completely.
Our floor can be reached barrier-free via an elevator. For wheelchairs, however, we recommend choosing the rooms One Night in Paris or Harrison Jones and the Stones of Atum.
However, at least one person without restricted mobility should be in the team to reach and examine the room.

On the day of the event itself, we will see who has arrived so that we can adjust the rooms and the price to suit you. This means that you remain flexible until the day of booking, but have secured your desired start time early.

The number of people can be easily adjusted on site according to the event capacity/room size. You come with everyone to the said date and report to us at the counter that you have become more participants than originally stated. Depending on your number of guests, you can pay in cash on site and the event will be adjusted to the new number of guests in just a few minutes.
We are located in the middle of Aachen. We are located in the City Center Aachen, which has two connected parking garages.
The parking garage in our building with access via the Alexianergraben is directly connected to the elevator to our location.
We are all only human – anyone can be late. We have planned 15 minutes of security for every delay. However, a longer delay will then lead to a forfeiture of the booking entitlement.
So to be on the safe side, plan to arrive 15 minutes before the booking time.

Our outdoor escape games will guide you through the old town of Aachen in a fun way. You will explore old alleyways, marvel at the historic city center and be guided interactively along the way. We will equip you with the necessary technology and game material at the meeting point and then let you go on your virtual journey through Aachen!
For some game elements as well as for accessibility, it would be important for at least one person in the group to have an internet-enabled smartphone.
Otherwise you would only have to consider suitable clothing depending on the weather.
You will find us in the City-Center Aachen (3rd floor), directly opposite the Kapuziner Karree. On Sundays and public holidays, access should be via the inner courtyard (Alexianergraben 21), as the passage is closed.
The outdoor escape games can be mastered by any group within the time limit without prior knowledge.
The level of difficulty can be adjusted to two levels on site in consultation with our adventure guides. So you have either a playful city exploration or a real outdoor challenge – the decision is always yours!
You will cover a distance of around 3-4 km while exploring Aachen.
Access to the meeting point to collect the game material is completely barrier-free.
Afterwards, you can expect familiar features of the city.
The magical portal is best suited for groups of children and young people aged 8-14 and families. But older friends attracted to fantasy and fiction will also find a special experience here.
Operation Mindfall is more demanding, but is basically youth-free and harmless, and can be played without restriction from the age of 14 upwards.
If you are clever, find your way around Aachen and solve the puzzles quickly, you will be on your way for between 90 and 120 minutes. To be on the safe side, it is best to plan 2 ½ hours from the arrival, the introduction, the actual game to the handing over of the game material.
